Sony Ericsson’s newest phone technology allows gamers to interact with their phones, navigate or take actions in the game by simply moving the phone. A flick of the wrist or swing of the arm moves players and objects in the game.
The F305, Sony Ericsson’s first foray into 3-D gaming, uses the same principles as the Nintendo Wii, and hopes to capture the same game-hungry audience, by giving them a phone with a motion-sensitive game device built in, along with stereo speakers, game-style controls, and a battery god for eight hours of game play.
The F305 will come with Bowling, Bass Fishing and Jockey built in, and users can download more games from the carrier’s website. Sony Ericsson, a joint venture between Japanese electronics group Sony and Swedish telecom manufacturer Ericsson, has battled to catch up with rival LG in the phone battles. Relaunching Walkman® as a phone brand and bringing out gaming phones will carry them a long way in this race.
“Gaming is no longer something you do on your own,” says Sven Totte, head of product marketing for Sony Ericcson. “It’s about having fun with your friends and interacting with the game. We have used motion sensor technology before in our phones and integrating it into game play is a natural progression.”
It may also be a progression consumers will come to love.

“A flick of the wrist or swing of the arm moves players and objects in the game.” This Phone looks very compact and easy to hold and use. This is a phone I will look into. Thanks for the Info.
