All of the Nokia’s N-series handsets are reknown for being jampacked with the hottest features and specifications coupled by a sexy and distinctive look. Their latest announcement of the N85 and N79 models are certainly no different, and we look to be in for a treat when both are released in a few months time.

The Nokia N79 is a decent looking phone with less impressive features and specifications compared to the N85, but is still a worthy phone in itself.

  • 5 megapixel, Carl Zeiss lensed, 30fps VGA video recording, flash unit, autofocus camera behind lens cover.
  • Built-in Assisted GPS.
  • Wi-Fi, HSDPA supporting 3G and A2DP Bluetoot
  • MicroSD card slot accepts up to 8GB cards. One 4GB card included with handset.
  • Variety of Xpress-On covers for personalisation.

The ability to customise the N79 with Xpress-On covers is uncommon for a handset in the N-series, but will no doubt prove popular with many. 3 different colours will be included with the handset with colours ranging from Espresso Brown to Light Sea Blue.

Elsewhere on the multimedia front will be an FM transmitter, with direct access to the Nokia Music Store, power for up to 24 hours of music playback plus 3.5mm headset connector and dedicated music keys for non-stop music enjoyment.
