Following a complaint from Nokia on the rampant sale of fake mobile phones and accessories, a recent raid led to hundreds of suspected fake Nokia phones being confiscated at several addresses in Bacolod City, Philippines.
Armed with search warrants, a team of National Bureau of Investigation officers managed to raid several locations as part of a major national operation clamping down on counterfeit goods.

I don’t know how big the counterfeit market is, but for some people who cannot afford to buy a real N95, buying a fake version could be tempting.

As the largest mobile phone manufacturer, it is very possible for Nokia to experience this repeatedly
