Google’s highly anticipated and long-awaited mobile operating system is gearing up for imminent release on the HTC Dream. From looking at these leaked pictures from www.gizmodo.com it looks as though the HTC Dream is nearly complete, if not finished already. It will features a full slide out QWERTY keyboard, trackball and seperate shortcut keys. The HTC Dream will also features 3G connectivity, along with 802.11g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR.
The T Mobile branding confirms the network as being the first to introduce the phone, but we are unclear if this includes T Mobile both in the UK and US.
There are also rumours abound that Google has been working hard behind the scenes to get a number of fantastic applications ready for release. These applications are set to be launched as the same day as the phone, and are said to make iPhone applications look pale in comparison.
