I don’t know where you guys got the idea that the 80085 code will unlock its touch-screen capability from but, this is not possible and one good thing to put to your questions is, why would LG not apply this to the phone before sales anyway?
Even if they did, they would include it in their user guides…
If anything, type *#80085# but it doesn’t work.
The touch-screen can only be used when entering your PIN, searching through contacts, typing messages on the number screen if you really want to, inputting a number and that’s about it.
One more, that code you have to put in if you get your PIN wrong three times and the phone is locked but I can’t remember what it’s called. Either way, they are the only possible uses for its touch-screen.

The only way you can do it is enter #456# whilst holding the power button on then put it in the microwave for 35 secsonds on the highest setting( 35 seconds not 34 or 36 35 seconds only)
