After the success of their previous collaboration, Samsung and Giorgio Armani have unveiled yet another designer branded phone - the Samsung Armani M75500 (nicknamed Night Effect).

Designed by Armani himself, this candybar phone is the second handset produced by the two companies and the first to come with the Emporio Armani branding ( it was Giorgio Armani last year).

The prominent branding appears on the back and on the sides of the handset, and it also comes with shining LED lights which give off a weird neon glowing effect. The pictures dont really show the LED lights working, so make sure you have a look at the video. I think you will either love the LED lights or hate it.

Other features include:

  • 3.2 megapixel camera,
  • 2.2-inch AMOLED display screen,
  • Dedicated music player control buttons
  • 120MB of memory with expansion via microSD,
  • FM radio
  • Bluetooth USB 2.0
  • HSDPA/GSM network

Its not the best looking phone I’ve seen in the world. The Samsung Armani M75500 was designed by a world reknown designer and aimed towards the more fashion concious, but it appears to lack any real creativity or a touch of class. If you take a look at the video below, take a look at those glowing LED lights in action and you will see what I mean.

The phone is set to be released in November in Europe, with south East Asia and Middle East to follow after.
