It’s been about five months since the first pictures of the Velocity Mobile 103 were posted on the internet, but they have now officially announced the introduction of their first ever touchscreen phone.
Running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, this smartphone comes with Velocity’s own Odysseey interface which you can customise to give quick one-touch access to applications, as well as Velocity Over The Air updates (Vota) which allows user to get the latest software updates without having to change handsets.
Velocity Mobile are the result of a nine month collaboration between Velocity; one of the largest notebook computer manufacturers, and a team of world class designers and engineers with years of experience between them.
Velocity Mobile designed the 103 with user simplicity in mind and managing director David Hayes says:
“Consumers these days are demanding more from their phones. Our research tells us that people want experiences, not applications and functions.”
The Velocity Mobile 103 comes with:

The Velocity 103 is available for pre-order online now through Expansys.com for £334.99, and should be shipped by the end of September.
