Industrial designer Peter Huvander has created a stylish and eco-friendly phone charger named the Yo Yo. Huvander, who lives in Sweden, wanted to find a sustainable way to charge his iPhone in preparation for the darkness of the Swedish winter. As solar power was not an option, he needed to create an alternative enegry source instead and ended up creating the motion-powered Yo Yo.
The charger works when the rotating motion created by the Yo Yo, is used by the internal magnets to generate power. Check out the video below to see it in action.
