Since the release of the iPhone, owners have crying out for Adobe to add Flash support to their web-savvy handsets. The phone promised to bring full web browsing functionality, but because of this oversight, browsing the web and popular sites such as YouTube isn’t what it should be on the iPhone. Many people have pointed it out as a critical flaw in the handset and have refused to adopt it as their next-gen phone. When you think about it, it is rather sad that Apple doesn’t consider Flash a part of the full web browsing experience.

However, that’s about to change. Adobe has finally confirmed that Flash is ready to be released on the wireless web on the iPhone. The team which developed Flash for the iPhone is apparently ready to go live with the update as soon as Apple gives the go ahead. Full flash support has been absent in many of handsets which were considered next-gen, because mobile phone processors tend to be too weak to make desktop applications work. If Adobe delivers as they’ve promised, having flash on the iPhone is sure to make web browsing the full featured experience its supposed to be.
