LG is certainly bolstering their medal tally with the recent announcement of having the world’s slimmest phone, the LG KC 780, and now they are claiming they have the cheapest touch screen mobile phone ever built with the release of the LG KP 500.
This quad band GSM handset, with a concealed embedded stylus pen in the base, has a handwriting recognition application, which means you can now quickly scribble text messages and memos on the go. Hold the device horizontally and you can slide its QWERTY keyboard into view and depending on which orientation you choose, you can adjust images and documents for better viewing.
The KP500 is LG’s answer to delivering a high quality full touch screen phone to consumers who wish to have the latest touch screen technology, that is easy to use and at an affordable price. Look for it in Europe at the end of October and the rest of the world will find it soon after. It will be interesting to see just how affordable the LG KP 500 really is when it finally hits the market. It will definitely be worth the wait for when it finally does become available though!
