LG is releasing yet another 8MP camera phone. Their company initiative is pretty clear at this point, I think.
Just behind the launch the KC910, LG is reportedly putting out another 8MP camera phone. Although an official release date and pricing is yet to be announced, it is reported that the LG KC780 will boast a 2.4-inch widescreen LCD display (good size, but not great), with a fancy Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, as well as face detection and smile shot (what if your photo subjects are really depressed? Oh, never mind), which automatically takes a pic when the subject grins, the KC910 also boasts a Beauty Mode. LG claims this Beauty Mode removes imperfections from a persons face, giving you a “flawless” shot. Now this I have to see.
At 13.9mm thick, the LG KC780 is actually a little bit slimmer than the KC910, while it also has the ability of recording DVD quality video. Gaming enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that a range of “motion sensor games” will also be onboard the device by default.
There are currently no details as to what operators will take on the handset, though it is expected to be out in time for Christmas gift giving. Besides, everyone has several family members who may benefit from “Beauty Mode”.
