The very best handsets and mobile services of 2008 were announced last night at the annual Mobile Choice Awards in London. Judged by a panel of industry experts and Mobile Choice readers, Samsung were the stars of night having scooped a total of three awards. The Korean giants received perhaps the most coveted award of Best Manufacturer, while the F400 was rated the best music phone and their i850i was named the best camera phone.
Nokia also picked up an awards for their E71 which was voted the Phone of the Year, as well as winning the Best Smartphone category.
Network Operator of the Year was awarded to O2 while the Best Customer Service went to Virgin Mobile for the eighth year running.
