by Ben on October 8, 2008

Great news for the day is that Sony Ericsson has announced that their Cyber-shot C905 will come preloaded with the “NearMe” application from Mobile Commerce.

You will always be able to know where you are, know where you were going and have a sense of your surroundings as this “NearMe” application will provide you with you information on venues and events, amenities and local businesses using its GPS capabilities based on your current location. You will find listings for over 11,000 cinemas, restaurants and bars for a night out, club and gig listings for party time and its search listings for total 1.9 million businesses including full addresses and phone numbers and how to get there mapping will mean that conducting business UK wide is now a whole lot easier.

You can also download NearMe on to the Sony Ericsson W760 Walkman handsets, the GPS enabled C702 Cyber-shot, and it is provided free to the user.

In summation, Sony Ericsson’s Cyber-shot C905 has added a very impressive application to an already impressive repertoire of specs.
