The phone is operated in the SE Michigan area. I chose the Tundra by Motorola because it closely resembled my old nextel phone. Some of Motorola's flip phones can take a serious beating. I need this phone to be able to take just that as I work outside allot. I had this phone for just about a week and took it back to exchange it for another Tundra. I wanted to give Motorola the benefit of the doubt. While in a call, the volume just isn't very loud, even at the loudest setting (7). PRO'S: Great construction, very rugged.
