Samsung announced on several sites they were working on a 12MP camera phone for the future, but it’s Sony that has beat them to the punch and actually announced the world’s first 12 MP CMOS image sensor for handsets, and the technology should be in phones as soon as March 2009, according to Sony.

For the most part, cameras in phones these days are simply throw-ins. Afterthoughts that take really mediocre pics. It is definitely not an afterthought with the Motorola ZINE ZN5, however.

Yes, movie tie-ins have even invaded the world of cell phones.
The special limited edition Titanium silver version of the C902 Cyber-shot is now available and is the same phone that Daniel Craig will be sporting in the long awaited Quantum of Solace movie, which is launching later this month after much secrecy and hoopla.

Sony Ericsson’s newest phone technology allows gamers to interact with their phones, navigate or take actions in the game by simply moving the phone. A flick of the wrist or swing of the arm moves players and objects in the game.
